  1. By booking a session with us, you understand MHUB (Muslim Homeschoolers Unite Birmigham) is run by a very small group of home ed mothers, completely voluntarily. You understand that we are a legal, ‘unregistered’ community group, run with the aim of bringing home ed families together for simple social and educational activities and support. This means we are not ‘professional’, insured, or accountable for any loss, injury or damage. With this understanding, you acknowledge and agree that you are responsible for carrying out any risk assessments of venue or anything at all that you deem necessary, before booking a ticket. You will not expect or attempt to blame or hold account MHUB administrators if sessions, venues or anything else at all, is deemed unsuitable or unacceptable by yourself.
  2. By booking a session with us, you agree that you will not cause conflict, disruption, take up time, or behave in a manner deemed disrespectful to any MHUB administrators and other community members before, during or after sessions. If you wish to complain, broach discussion or provide feedback, please send an email to sarah@mhub.community. Any other avenue for complaints will not be accepted nor tolerated. If you are thought to be causing conflict, disruption, taking up time or behaving in a manner deemed disrespectful to any MHUB administrators or community members, you will be asked to leave the vicinity of the sessions immediately and are expected to do so in line with your agreement with these terms.
  3. By booking a session with us, you understand that it is your responsibility to ensure your child has the suitable skills and abilities for that particular session. Please do not expect us to cater for the individual needs of your children. Generally we welcome you to assist your child, but please gain explicit clearance and permission for this from an admistrator to guarantee this option before booking a session.
  4. By booking a session with us, you understand and agree that on the occasion of you being unable to attend for whatever reason, you will not receive a refund from us. If you let us know beforehand we may be able to offer the place(s) to someone on our waiting list if there is one. In this case we will ask them to pay you directly. In all other situations, refunds are not possible.

Educational workshop uncovering the events and impact of Syria’s modern history as well as the significance of Bilad Ash-Shaam in Islam.

 

A chance to learn, clear doubts, fact-check misinformation and dispel confusion surrounding the recent liberation from the Assad regime.
This unique event is being carefully organised to suit the needs of both mothers and children. There will be two parts inshaAllah:
The Children’s Event:
A child-friendly talk followed by discussion and hands-on activities.
Ages 5+
Mums & Children 10+ Event:
Whilst the children take part in their post-talk activities in a separate room, mums and older children will have the chance to engage in an uncensored talk from two Syrian sisters followed by Q&A and discussion inshaAllah. The aim is to get a true, holistic picture and understanding of the Syrian experience.
This ticket is for this event.
If your child is 10 or over and you are not comfortable for them to join the Mums and Children 10+ then purchase the 5+ ticket instead.
The goal is Unity
By dispelling rumours and misinformation, and removing doubt and speculation.
As well as education that will uplift you in your emaan and understanding of Allah’s plan.
Please attend with an open mind, curiosity and a warm feeling for your fellow sisters that will help understand each other inshaAllah.
